Selena Gomez 'I'm Working In My Spanish Record' :

New Selena Gomez interview. On When The Sun Goes Down: 'There is a song called My Dilemma that is one of my favourites. It’s pop rock song, very similar to the stuff on my first record actually. It’s about loving someone, but you’re not really sure that person is the right one for you and you still can’t help but be attracted to that person. Then there is this song called Hit The Lights that I love, which is basically saying you can’t sit there and say, 'I should have done this' or 'I could have done that and if only I had, my life would have turned out differently'. It’s all about living in the moment and I love the fact that this song has a really powerful message.

My band is amazing and I love them. As for my songwriting process, it is very organic. I can’t really force anything and put it in my schedule to go into a studio and sit down and write songs from scratch. It happens at the most random times. I’ll write a lyric on the airplane.. I tend to think a lot when I’m in the shower or shopping. I just pen down the lyrics and I put it all together with producers. So my song writing process is very easy and simple.
You’re dating a singer Justin Bieber who is as famous as you. Does that make it easier to handle the attention that is focused on you at all times? It’s a weird and different lifestyle altogether. I try to stay as normal as possible and be myself. But it’s nice to relate to someone who knows how crazy all of it is. What comes next for Selena & The Scene in terms of musical direction? I’m very excited about my tour. And I’m working on a Spanish record.

Selena G, 'I Still Get Awkward In A Bikini' :

Selena Gomez pictured @ SiriusXM radio. Photo: StarTraks. Time asked: There's a lot of interest in you since you started dating Justin Bieber. Does it limit the way that you live? Yes. But at the same time I'm only 18. I don't want to be scared or hide because everything that I'm doing now should not be taken seriously.
Example of something you can't do? I try not to ever encounter that question because I feel like I don't want this to live my life for me. I know that there are certain places that maybe I shouldn't attend, but I don't want that to ever stop me.
Many female tween stars moving into adult roles seem to feel pressure to amp up sex appeal. Do you? I've never been the kind of person who thought that I needed to be that way. I have a core audience around the ages of 7 to 15. Now that I am getting older, I'm about to be 19, of course I'm becoming a woman, and I want to explore that side of myself but at the same time, I have to be true to those people that have been with me. I still get awkward if I'm in a bikini so I don't think I'll be doing anything too drastic anytime soon.

Selena Gomez BOSTON MEETING

Selena appeared at KISS 108 Cafe in Boston, MA to promote Monte Carlo, me and my friend went even though we didn't win the tickets to the event. She was a little late and we saw her car drive around the back as we all started running but by the time we got there she was already inside.
They told us she would take pictures when she got out. She was SO SWEET! So down to earth and softspoken! And SO beautiful and TINY! In person! We took pictures and complimented on how pretty she was she said 'thank you so much!' :) After that her and her mom left in the same car from the Ritz Hotel in Boston.
Selena was as nice as you always hear and she made everyone's day! <3
